You learnt in Part 1 of the Law of Attraction series, that:
In this article I want to share with you three behavioural habits you are to adopt in order to create congruence between what you want and what you attract in your life.
1. Harness the power of your thoughts
Your thoughts are very powerful; therefore, it is important that you focus your energy on what you want as opposed to what you do not want. Since the Law of Attraction is always at work you might as well attract what you want. :)
As you observe your habitual way of thinking, do you usually focus your thinking on what you do not want or what you want in your life?
How do you change your thoughts? There is a new habit you are to introduce in your life, the habit of reasoning and becoming the observer of your thoughts and ideas. Since your thoughts create your reality you must decide what kind of thoughts would help you attract greater life balance.
For example, if you say: "I am so stressed out!" Do you live with this idea by dwelling on the problem or do you become solution focused so that you can find ways to overcome it and find greater peace? The choice is always yours...
2. Uplift your beliefs
In order for you to attract greater balance in your life you must also uplift your belief that you are able to make it happen and that it will happen. One of your 10 intellectual factors is your will or your ability to focus. It is when doubts creep in that you do not attract what you want but rather what you have been focusing on and do not want: "I cannot make it happen!", "It is not going to work!", "How can I possibly change this!", "It is just a dream" etc. The belief you hold in your heart determines whether or not you are in harmony with the Law of Attraction.
3. Open your heart to receive
I talk about this in my book YES! TO Love™. In order to return to love you must open your heart to receive. This applies particularly to those who are givers and people-pleasers. If this resonates with you, you are probably burning yourself out because of the imbalance in your life between giving and receiving. You do not give in order to receive; you give because you love to give. However, there is an imbalance when you give plenty and you forget to nurture yourself: you end up feeling overwhelmed, bitter and resentful. The balance lies in your ability to believe that you are worthy of both giving and receiving.
Question: How could you create greater congruence between what you want and what you attract in your life?
