Are you always busy doing things? Find some time to just Be, in order to improve the quality of your life. In this blog article I share with you 5 useful tips on how to enjoy just being instead of being busy doing all the time.
One of my mentors Bob Proctor says that we do not need to slow down, instead we need to calm down. Indeed, it is amidst calmness that you are able to see more clearly, to reevaluate where you are, to decide on your next step etc.
When Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen came up with the title of one the most successful book series Chicken Soup for the Soul, with more than 100 million books sold in the US and Canada alone, it was in the midst of calmness that Jack Canfield came up with the title. In fact, he came up with the name after meditation.
We do not find answers and solutions in the midst of chaos but when we invite ease and peace.
The following are 5 tips on how to enjoy Being more often:
Find some time to self-reflect by meditating. It is...
According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (C.I.P.D) job satisfaction in the UK is at a low level, particularly in the private sector.
Discover 10 reasons why you are not getting job satisfaction.
1. You are not challenged intellectually
You have outgrown your job and there is no opportunity for you to develop your skills in your current role. This means that you are unlikely to fulfil your career aspiration in your current organization. The opportunity for training and development needs are unmet.
2. You are not receiving the recognition you deserve
You are probably trying to get your voice heard but somehow you seem to be invisible, no one hears you. Or you asked for a promotion but you were told that you were not the most suitable candidate despite all of your efforts.
3. Your working environment is no longer suitable
Your organization may have changed over the years, particularly if you have worked there for a long time. It may now have changed management...
In my blog ‘5 Ways to Find the Courage to Take Your Life to the Next Level’, I share that one way to find courage is to tell yourself the right story.
To make my point I shared with you Mo Farah’s story during the 2011 Daegu World Championships in Athletics.
After his near victory when he competed for the 10,000 m his story could have been totally different from what we know it to be today.
After his defeat his story could have been: “That’s it, my dream has been shattered I am going home, that’s the end; there will be no happy ending with a gold medal this time at the Games" or “After so many months of training I could not deliver.” With such a thought process he would have returned to the UK defeated with a low self-esteem.
Yet he chose to tell himself a different story with a different ending: “I still have a chance, I can still make it, I can still win a gold medal and I am going for it by running the 5,000m in a week’s...
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
I love this quote which is often attributed to Winston Churchill. He might not have said this word for word, however he said on the 13th of December 1940: “Success always demands a greater effort”, which is along the same line of thought.
The more I read “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts” the more it inspires me and strengthens my belief that perseverance is a sign of courage.
Let us have a closer look at this quote:
Success is not final: as you know success is a journey for growth. Once you have reached your goals, you set up new ones and embark on a new journey to success with new goals.
Failure is not fatal: countless of people fail or ‘fall forward’. They fall forward because they pick themselves up, they bounce back by learning from their mistakes or by finding the courage to try again. They...

At the same event he also talked about leadership and in this special blog, I have chosen to create a leadership card inspired by Brian Tracy's 7 Qualities of Leadership.
You can print this card out and look at it on a regular basis in order to introduce some of these qualities in your daily life if you choose to create lasting and positive change in your life. You might want to develop 1, 2 or all of the 7 qualities listed on this card.
In order to develop a particular quality in your own life, here are the instructions you can follow:
1. Choose one quality
2. Read it several times
3. How does it make you feel?
4. What does it mean to you?
5. How can you apply it in your life?
Leadership is something that can be learnt from the moment you choose to take leadership of your life. It requires you to change your perception about what is possible and...

Wow! I wanted to write this blog to share with you one of the best lectures I attended this year with Brian Tracy as part of the Business 2017 conference. For those of you who do not know him, he is an authority in personal and business development with a career spanning more than 30 years. Brian Tracy has consulted for more than 1,000 companies and addressed more than 5,000,000 people in 5,000 talks and seminars throughout the US, Canada and 70 other countries worldwide. He is the top selling author of over 70 books, which have been translated in dozens of languages.
Brian Tracy was visiting London on 10 & 11 June 2017. I told myself that the opportunity to see him speak on a London stage may never come again so I took action and I booked my ticket to see him. I was in for a treat as were the hundreds of people sharing this experience with me.
There were key points I learnt from his experience and wisdom, I want to share with you:
1. To communicate well you do not need to...
When you meet a financial adviser for the first time, they always ask: "what is your level of risk: low, medium or high risk?" This implies that in any case you should always be willing to take risk.
Fear of the unknown is usually what stops us from taking risk in life. However, below are 5 reasons why you should take risks in order to take your life to the next level.
#1 – Be the leader of your own life
Do not let life happen to you but take steps to change it the way you want it to be. In order to change your results you have to be willing to take risk and this requires leadership.
#2 – Have no regrets
At the end of your life you want to have no regrets. If you agree with this philosophy of life, there is no point sitting on the fence right now. Sitting on the fence zaps your energy because your thought process is: “if only I did this….., if only I did that…”. Moreover, as you look back on your life you will be wondering: “If only...
Are a you highly talented, ambitious, creative, inspired, a visionary, a gamechanger who wants to play a bigger game and live a more meaningful life, however, you do not seem to be getting ahead with fulfilling your vision or mission?
In the last part of the ‘Shying Away From Your Greatness 101’ 3-part series, I am going to disrupt 3 myths about stepping 100% into your greatness.
What do I mean by greatness?
It is the ability to show up 100% as you, your authentic self, the true you not the one, you believe, someone else expects you to be.
Myth #1: You have to be exceptional
I would say that you just have to make a choice and you just have to be you. You might be thinking: “The exploration of one's full potential only happens to other people” Who are they other than people who made the choice to step up and walk 100% in their greatness.
They realized that it came down to making the decision to do so and it was up to them to pursue self-realization or...
Are you highly talented, ambitious, creative, inspired, a visionary, a gamechanger who wants to play a bigger game and live a more meaningful life, however, you do not seem to be getting ahead with fulfilling your vision and mission?
In this part 2 of the 'Shying Away From Your Greatness 101' 3-part series, I am going to help you on your journey of self-discovery by revealing four things that stop you from moving forward and walking 100% in your greatness.
1. Lack of focus
You have many ideas in your head and too many incompletes. For example, if you are a writer you have lots of book ideas; you started writing more than one book at the same time however none has been completed to date.
I went to see the Giacometti exhibition recently and I admire how this artist was committed to excellence. In order to be the full expression of your greatness you need to bring this new awareness into your consciousness: to complete the incompletes in your life and focus on one thing, complete it,...
