You may know my story that in my mid-thirties I was on a quest to discover my life’s purpose. I was going through a period of existential angst; I felt so unhappy, discontented and unfulfilled. Moreover, I felt lost, unclear and disconnected to the world around me even though I seemed happy on the outside. In fact, I believed deep in my heart that there was more to life than what my life was back then. I wanted to give my present-day existence more meaning and I discovered my life's purpose when I devoted time to uncover it.

The truth about life is that you are forever running against the current when you either contemplate the past and the future or ignore the present moment.
However, the more you ignore the present moment the more you distance yourself from ‘being joy’. I would describe ‘being joy’ as the highest state of being that is true to you, that makes you simply happy, like a natural state of ecstasy.

The fundamental principle to live your life authentically is to TRUST. When you trust your heart is wide open and you surrender fully.
Here is the meditative process to live your life authentically:
Please sit comfortably in a quiet place and take a few deep breaths in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth or nose.
Become aware of your body and let go of any sensation that feels uncomfortable by saying, for example: “I let go of the sensation I feel in my arms and I smile…” Keep doing this until your body really feels lighter and you feel at ease.
