Living your life purposefully is a very hot and popular topic in personal development and something that is sought by individuals in general. Living your life purposefully matters because according to scientific research purposefulness has many health benefits.
Discover the 21 signs that you are living a purposeful life.
You may know my story that in my mid-thirties I was on a quest to discover my life’s purpose. I was going through a period of existential angst; I felt so unhappy, discontented and unfulfilled. Moreover, I felt lost, unclear and disconnected to the world around me even though I seemed happy on the outside. In fact, I believed deep in my heart that there was more to life than what my life was back then. I wanted to give my present-day existence more meaning and I discovered my life's purpose when I devoted time to uncover it.
Do you find it hard to discover your life’s purpose?
If so, in this blog article you are going to discover the 21 signs that you are living a purposeful life.
F.e.a.r (false expectation appearing real) seems to be epidemic in our world and it is clear that the importance we attach to it can keep us paralysed and stuck. However, should you wish to uncover and fulfil your life’s purpose it is important to learn how to use whatever fear you may have positively so that it serves you well.
Can fear serve you positively when you want to uncover and fulfil your life’s purpose?
My answer to this question is YES! and I want to you how in this article.
1. Get unstuck
In order to get unstuck and change your results you must make the decision to do things differently. What most other people do when they are faced with fear is to remain stuck in the fear. Yet in order to let go of fear it must first be acknowledged and accepted. When you let go of resistance, you allow your fear to become your friendly ally and you can move forward and keep going.

I want to thank-you personally for celebrating with me the 50th episode of The Everyday Life Balance Show.
When I embarked on this journey to start a podcast back in June 2017, I knew it would be fun! I have enjoyed this journey very much and it continues...
Do you have a project you have not launched yet?
In this blog article I share with you 5 things I have learnt since launching The Everyday Life Balance Show on the 1st of June 2017:
1. Practice makes perfect: recording the episodes took a long time at first, however the more I did it the more confident I became. The most important thing is to start even if it means taking imperfect actions.
2. What matters most are my subscribers and listeners: there was not a week I missed an episode. I am dedicated to helping you transform your life one step at a time.
3. Consistency is key: it is easier to give up than to keep going. I make it a priority to provide my listeners with transformational information and insights. I...
The truth about life is that you are forever running against the current when you either contemplate the past and the future or ignore the present moment.
However, the more you ignore the present moment the more you distance yourself from ‘being joy’. I would describe ‘being joy’ as the highest state of being that is true to you, that makes you simply happy, like a natural state of ecstasy.
There is no separation between ‘being joy’ and your personality traits. Therefore, 'being joy' means that you choose to deepen your relationship with yourself.
For this reason, living your life on purpose is essential for: “Where there is no purpose there is no joy.”
This is something I experienced in my mid 30’s when I questioned the meaning of my life. I felt lost, empty, unclear and disconnected from the world. I asked God: “Why am I here?” I did not feel complete, fulfilled, whole, happy and content despite the fact that I had...
I am doing something totally different this week. This blog article is more like a poem or a meditation for self-reflection.
The fundamental principle to live your life authentically is to TRUST. When you trust your heart is wide open and you surrender fully.
Here is the meditative process to live your life authentically:
Please sit comfortably in a quiet place and take a few deep breaths in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth or nose.
Become aware of your body and let go of any sensation that feels uncomfortable by saying, for example: “I let go of the sensation I feel in my arms and I smile…” Keep doing this until your body really feels lighter and you feel at ease.
Now begin the 3-step meditation for self-reflection keeping your eyes closed:
Step 1: “I trust myself” – meditate on the following:
“As I look at myself in the mirror, I love what I see and all that I am.
I trust my inner voice, my intuition and my gut feeling...
According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (C.I.P.D) job satisfaction in the UK is at a low level, particularly in the private sector.
Discover 10 reasons why you are not getting job satisfaction.
1. You are not challenged intellectually
You have outgrown your job and there is no opportunity for you to develop your skills in your current role. This means that you are unlikely to fulfil your career aspiration in your current organization. The opportunity for training and development needs are unmet.
2. You are not receiving the recognition you deserve
You are probably trying to get your voice heard but somehow you seem to be invisible, no one hears you. Or you asked for a promotion but you were told that you were not the most suitable candidate despite all of your efforts.
3. Your working environment is no longer suitable
Your organization may have changed over the years, particularly if you have worked there for a long time. It may now have changed management...
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
I love this quote which is often attributed to Winston Churchill. He might not have said this word for word, however he said on the 13th of December 1940: “Success always demands a greater effort”, which is along the same line of thought.
The more I read “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts” the more it inspires me and strengthens my belief that perseverance is a sign of courage.
Let us have a closer look at this quote:
Success is not final: as you know success is a journey for growth. Once you have reached your goals, you set up new ones and embark on a new journey to success with new goals.
Failure is not fatal: countless of people fail or ‘fall forward’. They fall forward because they pick themselves up, they bounce back by learning from their mistakes or by finding the courage to try again. They...
Are a you highly talented, ambitious, creative, inspired, a visionary, a gamechanger who wants to play a bigger game and live a more meaningful life, however, you do not seem to be getting ahead with fulfilling your vision or mission?
In the last part of the ‘Shying Away From Your Greatness 101’ 3-part series, I am going to disrupt 3 myths about stepping 100% into your greatness.
What do I mean by greatness?
It is the ability to show up 100% as you, your authentic self, the true you not the one, you believe, someone else expects you to be.
Myth #1: You have to be exceptional
I would say that you just have to make a choice and you just have to be you. You might be thinking: “The exploration of one's full potential only happens to other people” Who are they other than people who made the choice to step up and walk 100% in their greatness.
They realized that it came down to making the decision to do so and it was up to them to pursue self-realization or...
Are you highly talented, ambitious, creative, inspired, a visionary, a gamechanger who wants to play a bigger game and live a more meaningful life, however, you do not seem to be getting ahead with fulfilling your vision and mission?
In this part 2 of the 'Shying Away From Your Greatness 101' 3-part series, I am going to help you on your journey of self-discovery by revealing four things that stop you from moving forward and walking 100% in your greatness.
1. Lack of focus
You have many ideas in your head and too many incompletes. For example, if you are a writer you have lots of book ideas; you started writing more than one book at the same time however none has been completed to date.
I went to see the Giacometti exhibition recently and I admire how this artist was committed to excellence. In order to be the full expression of your greatness you need to bring this new awareness into your consciousness: to complete the incompletes in your life and focus on one thing, complete it,...
